Brake shaft

A truck brake shaft is a part of the braking mechanism in a truck. It is used to transmit the braking force to the individual wheels of the truck and to brake the vehicle. The brake shaft, as a rule, consists of a cylindrical rod that runs parallel to the axle of the truck and is connected to the brake disc or brake shoe. When the driver presses the brake pedal, the movement is transmitted via the brake cylinder to the brake shaft, which then applies the brakes on the wheels. The brake shaft is thus an important part of a truck's safety system and ensures reliable braking performance.
